Welcome to our Female Power/Mind Image Blog

Here at Furless we think that being female is pretty damn cool.  We can give birth to babies, we nurture and care for others, and we get to be creative and play with fun things like makeup.

There are also some pretty uncool things about being female, like the pressures from the media to look a certain way, and not feeling good about ourselves when we don't live up to those standards, which are most of the time out of our reach.

So, we have decided here at Furless that we want to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.  We promise not to Photoshop women in a manner that is deceiving, and would like to share with you some cool organisations, and some women we think are fabulous for achieving things on their merits, not on their looks.

Wouldn't it be great and healthier for everyone if women supported each other, and didn't view other women as competition but as friends and allies?
